Nearly 60 degrees, sunny, dry. It's like a moral obligation.

Is your front tire on backwards?

I hate you. So. Freaking. Much

That is a pity

Don't worry, I'm doing this for bikes everywhere. I'll pour one out before I go.

Motorcycle tires evacuate water opposite from cars? Or is it dry road = don't care?

Ditto.
I'm not sure I could even get my bike out of the driveway, if I could even get to the shed where it's stored.

I rode last week, but alas this week its mostly below freezing and a good rain hasn't washed the salt off the roads. Jealous.

Gotta Love it!! After crappy weather for months here in Colorado, we've been flirting with temps in the 70's for the past week... So nice to get the 'fant (and me!) out in the sunshine!!

not opposite, but different. keep in mind our tires have a curves profile, and arent square like car tires. so the shape to start off with is better at it then car tires.

On the other hand, I've been sitting here wondering if 30 degrees is warm enough to go riding.

See, this is why I am not posting any pictures of riding right now. All those motorcyclists stuck in tons of snow, might just go all Audi R8 out of jealousy.

Dress like you are going out on a snowmobile and I would think so. I don't know if your bike would think so.

Yeah, it's the 1000. I'm super jealous of the fork swap. That's what holds these bikes back

ive ridden in 10 degree weather, no ice of course

To piggyback on that, think of that small contact patch, using the inertia created by the tire moving through water, the channels flow water away from that contact patch.

Oh, I've done it before, when I blew a clutch line on my daily in January a couple years back. It's much harder now that I don't have to go riding when it's this cold out. That and I just want a good hard rain to wash away all the salt.
